Welcome

Welcome to my brand new blog.  I started blogging around 20 years ago and did so for many many years.  Sadly I cannot access that blog any longer so in desperation I have decided to begin another.  I have designed Stitcheries, Quilts and much more under the labels of Designs by Fee & Fee Fee & Me.

I am a self confessed lover of all things Shabby and have always been obsessed with TILDA fabrics which lead me to start a Facebook Group around 10 years ago called Tilda Lover's Club.  We have over 15,000 members to date.  This year I am running a few group projects to help keep me motivated in my creative life after having 3 years away due to my health.

To re-introduce myself to those of you that may not know me I am Fee.  I live in Tasmania.  Up until July 2023 we lived on a rural property in Brighton but we now live in a small bungalow in a riverside suburb called Old Beach just 5 minutes away from our previous property.  The smaller house and land are much more manageable for us.  We have 4 beautiful children and 9 gorgeous grandchildren ranging in age from 17 to 3.  The little house fits us all when we have our regular family gatherings and that's the main thing.  I also have some space for my creative adventures so that's an added bonus !

I have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, PPP, Fibromyalgia, Osteoarthritis & Psoratic Arthritis.  The last 4 years in particular have been a challenge both physically and mentally and I have spent much of that time coming to terms with the reality of a body full of organs and joints which no longer work well and numerous failed surgeries to try to make my mobility and pain levels more manageable.

I have finally come to a place where I need my creative life to focus on again and am trying hard to keep myself motivated.  It's a good distraction.

I feel like having a blog again will keep me accountable to myself and hopefully keep my motivation high and my creativity abundant.

So if you have read this far, well done and thanks for visiting.  Here I will share not only my creative endeavours but also my day to day life.  I have re-opened my Craft With Fee Facebook Group so if you are not already a member feel free to join us.  Craft With Fee.

Before I leave today I wanted to show you my latest rehab project.  I had some more hand and elbow surgery in August of last year so in September I pulled out my Polymer Clay stash and decided to just play with it.  It was great squeezing therapy and helped with my fine motor skills as well.  I have to say - I love working with clay !  So what did I make ?  A Harry Potter inspired magic wand.  Of course there were many more to follow.  I will share some more over the coming weeks.

With Much Love,
